Remarks: Double simple, occilating steam engine. Cylinders swing on a pivot. Purchased by vendor from an estate in Wisconsin. At MSM pipe plug placed in exhaust to seal engine and a modern, lower head bolt placed in aft cylinder to replace the missing original. No paint except for traces of red primer on inside. Built in Libertyville, IL. Mr Gobel stated that he did not alter the engine in any way. Engine was suitable to power a 26 to 30 foot launch.
