Remarks: 4 cycle, semi-high speed (1200-1400 rpm), L-Head. Dual ignition, magneto and distributer. 12 spark plugs. Includes heat exchanger/header, alternator , 2 portions of water cooling system. exhaust pipe, seacock (water in), stuffing box, throttle lever, 2 oil pressure switches, 2 miscellaneous lengths of insulated wire. See library for service manual. Engine removed from 32' lobster boat in 1950. Purchased in 1929 at New York Boat Show through Palmer represenative. Donor was supervisor of collections at Frick Museum, New York. (See correspondence for notes by Richard Day Jr., 2003) Painted gray. Missing carburetor, distributor and starter motor. 5/93 Filled with anti freeze.
