The data in Registrar's Office list dated 10/20/2005 incorrectly describe this engine as a Palmer 4 cylinder, model NR-4. Photos on file under accession number 1984.24 confirm it as a Palmer 2 cylinder, model NR-2. The mistake was likely made due to it having two spark plugs in each of its two, "T"-Head engine cylinders. The Palmer NR-2 engine was carried in their catalog during the years 1913 to 1926.
