Remarks: Engine carried on board as auxillary power. Engine was found on the Mill floor under the MERRY HELL inside its original cardboard container. (The container is accessioned as 1983.116.2,and the photo of the container is under 1983.116.2-a). Precision Corp. marketed this engine under the brand name "Silvertrol", and was a major player in the electric trolling motor industry's early years, having built their first trollers in 1946. This engine could be operated at either 6 or 12 volts, and was equiped with clip-on battery leads.
