Remarks: 2 cycle. Schebler carburetor. Make-and-break ignition. Unidentified maker, likely Mianus. From a 1911 catalog, Mianus Motor Works made a one cylinder, 5 HP two cycle engine with make-and-break ignition and a 16" diameter flywheel. Measurements taken on this engine's flywheel 6/01/06 show it has a 16" diameter. Bearing measurements taken during the latest rebuilding also indicate that this engine is likely a 5 hp Mianus. Engine appears to be frozen, otherwise mostly complete. Water jacket has been repaired.
