Remarks: Vertical bottle frame, single cylinder steam engine, with Stevenson reversing linkage. Possibly a converted stationary engine, copper lagging, loose bearings, runs but loose, possibly missing air pump, 2-3/8" stroke. Has unused cam on main shaft outboard of bearing, possibly intended for a lube or water pump. Cleaned and repainted by Bill Quincy 5/77. Steam outlet flange has name "F. DRA_ _R & CO., EAST CAMBRIDGE, MASS" engraved on it. (Incomplete word might be "DRAPER".)
