Remarks: 2 cycle. Shaft stamped "Bryant and Berry/Detroit, Mich. Possibly identical to engine in vessel MY HOME, Acc.# 1991.150.2. Jump spark ignition. Magneto behind flywheel. See file for details of work done. Circular brass plate on copper cylinder reads "ARROW MOTOR & MACH. Co./NEW YORK, N.Y./U.S.A./FACTORY/NEWARK / No. 11789/MODEL K1H.P. 2. This engine was dated 1908 by David Dodge, but after more research was likely c. 1917, when Arrow acquired the Waterman Co. Carburetor missing. (1988 inspection recorded carburetor in place, mfg. not indicated, hand-stamped with F44944.) Complete maintenance done 03/04.
