11 Yarn by John E. Barstow, master of the ship CABAGO during 1850, in the Bay of Panama, concerning an encounter with a sea monster at the islet of Malpello.; undated.
2 Yarn by John E. Barstow, master of an unidentified ship in the years 1853 and 1854, pertaining to yellow fever and culmination in a tale about himself and two crew members sailing his ship form New Orleans, La., to Bremen, Germany, with the remainder of the crew incapacitated by the disease; undated.
