History:Largest ship on Australian route. 1917-taken over under Liner Requisition Scheme; returned to owners 1919. 1928-converted to whale factory ship HEKTORIA by Norwegian owner. Returned to British flag 1932. Torpedoed 1942 while in use as oil tanker.
