History:Built as ALSATIAN for Allan Line. Acquired by Candaian Pacific in 1919, renamed EMPRESS OF FRANCE. Made a world cruise from NY in 1923. Put in trans-Pacific service Dec. 1928 for one year. Last voyage Southampton-NY October 1931. Scrapped 1935.
