History:Maiden voyage June 29, 1904. Largest liner built to that date, cost $4 million. Rescued survivors of REPUBLIC-FLORIDA collision 1909. October 1927 accommodations changed to cabin 393, tourist 339, III 1,150. 1932 last voyage Liverpool-NY-Liverpool. Scrapped 1933 in Osaka.
