Mears (1829-1899); bracelet made of seashells, most likely from the shells of a marine gastropod; bracelet is four rows of 12 shells each, connected to each other by small crystal beads; towards one side, five shells connected by beads are hanging off from the front of the bracelet; the entire bracelet is clasped shut by a box clasp, rectangular in shape.
