Mears (1829-1899); small brown leather envelope or wallet (most likely), folded in center to make two halves, left half has a semi-open flap for storage, while the right side has a pocket (only one side is not stiched shut); printed on front "Dr. E. A. Van Valkenburgh"; printed on inside left flap "H. MUEHLSTEIN & COMPANY INC./ NEW YORK 41 East 42nd Street/ CHICAGO 114 W.
