Has a/ fixed white oil light. Height above/ mean high water 54-1/4 feet. Visible/ 14-3/4 miles. Established in 1859. Rebuilt/ 1875. DIST.N.Y." "This series contains attractive drawings of 48 lighthouses in coastal locations around the country, plus the Statue of Liberty and a card depicting early coastal signaling methods. The lighthouses are mostly in the East, but there are a few (such as Tillamook Light) from the West Coast. The backs contain information abou the lighthouse, the sound of its signal and the year it was established.
