Jr. Place: Date: Materials: wood; metal; textile Description: Rigged model with no sails, of fishing schooner SENATOR LODGE of Gloucester, MA. Model is made to a 3/8" scale, by Erik A. R. Ronnberg, Jr.. The model was used by artist Thomas M. Hoyne III for studying and sketching. Fully equipped model including 3 sets of carved dories (representing 10 dories all together), mounted on wood base. The actual schooner SENATOR LODGE was built in 1893 by Arthur D. Story, in Essex, MA, and was designed by George McClain.
