Printed on back of postcard: "CARTE POSTALE./ LONDON'S LARGEST SHIP in 1924 and in 1524./ The new ATLANTIC TRANSPORT LINER "MINNIE-/ TONKA (21,998 tons) contrasted with the "Great Harry"/ (Henry Grace a Dieu) of 1,500 tons, the largest vessel of Henry/ VIII's navy./ Details of the ancient ship are from the painting by Holbein/ in Hampton Court Palace, representing the embarkation of/ Henry VIII from Dover when en route to meet Francis I on/ the Field of the Cloth of Gold."
