Boston, by Smith & Townsend) under full sail, entering harbor (probably Hong Kong). Painted by unidentified Chinese artist ca. 1880. Sampan in tow. Bark flies house flag of Charles Brewer Co. (horizontal bands of blue-red-blue), banner reading MARTHA DAVIS (reversed), and a 35-star American flag.
