Visible in image: starboard quarter view of the schooner on port close reach tack with gaff-rigged mainsail, topsail, foresail, fisherman's staysail, club-footed forestaysail, and jib raised, crew aft, dingy stored upside down on deck. MALABAR IX was a John G. Alden design and was registered in Boston, MA in 1928 and later in Marblehead (1929-).
