Nevins built auxiliary yawl GOOD NEWS (built 1939 in City Island, N.Y.), 63' Sparkman & Stephens designed, Camper and Nicholson built Bermuda yawl BLOODHOUND (built 1936 in England) and 67' Alberg & Brengle designed, Abeking & Rasmussen built auxiliary yawl SEA LION (built 1952 in Lemwerder, Germany) on Long Island Sound. Visible in image: starboard beam views of GOOD NEWS (jib and spinnaker only visible), BLOODHOUND (101), and SEA LION (190) running before the wind under spinnakers, mainsails, mizzen staysails and mizzen sails, SEA LION flies owner GIlbert Verney's private signal- blue background with cross of white with red stars- on mizzen mast.
