Co. built auxiliary yawl ESCAPADE (built 1938 in Stamford, Conn.), 44' Sparkman & Stephens designed, Hodgdon Brothers built auxiliary cutter STARLIGHT (built 1935 in East Boothbay, Me.), and 56' Sparkman & Stephens, Inc. designed, Henry B. Nevins, Inc. built auxiliary cutter BLITZEN (built 1938 in City Island, N.Y.) at Miami to Nassau Race. Visible in image: port beam views of ANCHORITE (A/6), ESCAPADE (108), STARLIGHT (46), and BLITZEN (77) plus one unidentified sloop on starboard close reaches under sails, large bow wave on STARLIGHT, BLITZEN hidden behind STARLIGHT, sparkly waves and clouds in sky. Stamped on original negative sleeve: "125768F / FLORIDA / 1950 / [Box] 5095" and handwritten: "MIAMI-NASSAU / FLORIDA-1950 / A6 / ANCHORITE / 108 / Escapade / 46 / Starlight".
