Title: Phantom Class sloop, 1981 Accession Number: 1984.187.118.30.5 Category: PHOTOGRAPHS - 35 MM SLIDES Type: color slide Maker: Rosenfeld and Sons Place: Date: 1981-03 Materials: acid mount; kodachrome Description: 35 mm color negative taken by Rosenfeld and Sons in March 1981. Starboard beam view of an unidentified Phantom Class sloop under sail. Vessel has a white sail with yellow, orange, and red stripes. It is lateen rigged. This type of vessel was first made in 1977, and measured 14'1" x 4'5" x 2'10"; it had a sail area of 84 ft2; and a fiberglass hull. Handwritten on slide mount: "BOX- / PHANTOM / Box-112-30-05". Factory printed on mount: "20 MAR 81N6". Printed on reverse: "Kodachrome / SLIDE / PROCESSED BY KODAK".
