F. M. Badger/ 5 Trenton St./ Charlestown Mass." Five tears, framed. See 74.577.144 for Stebbins photograph and 76.1.112 for Leavitt watercolor from same photograph. Among the largest wooden vessels every built, the WELLS could carry up to 5000 tons of coal, an unheard-of capacity for a wooden hull.
