George Comer. Used by Comer to illustrate lectures about his Arctic and seafaring experiences. Depicts the three-masted schooner GEORGE B. CLUETT off Cape York, Greenland, circa 1915-16. Capt. Comer served as Ice Pilot of the CLUETT, which was sent by the American Museum of Natural History to relieve members of its Crocker Land Expedition. Photographed circa 1915-16.
