George Comer; taken in Hudson Bay, ca. 1904. Depicts a seated Inuit man posed in front of a sail cloth backdrop. Identified by Comer as Melichi [Meliki], who died on Southampton Island during the winter of 1909-1910. Photo probably taken onboard the whaling schooner ERA at Cape Fullerton in January of 1904. Slide prepared by F. C. Lockwood. From glass negative 1963.1767.42.
