C. S. L" [Army & Navy Cooperative Society Ltd], probably made by Elliot Brothers, London; rectangular metal trough (painted black) to pour mercury into; and glass lid composed of metal frame (painted black) with 2 panes of glass mounted at 90 degrees to each other.
