Daggett, Commndr"; band of stars around tooth one inch below tip and below that in 2 banners "FORGET" and "ME NOT"; reverse side decorated with another circled drawing of MECHANIC and beneath it in banner "LIBERTY and INDEPENDENCE". Refers to Henry Daggett, first master of MECHANIC, 1834-1838.
